Hotels are inspected twice annually, once with the Georgia State Fire Marshal's office.

New Construction and Change of Use

Asst. Chief Morris has many roles within the city. He is also the building inspector. With building inspections, his job requires him to work closely with the City Manager who oversees Planning & Zoning with all new construction and renovations or change of occupancies. This includes plans examination and inspections.

We have provided important information for contractors, developers, and property managers to make the construction inspection process as easy as possible for all involved.
